The V5 is the latest versions of Hawkeye’s Split camera. This edition of the Split is even more versatile, with new video output methods, HDMI and USB (AV for analog FPV is still supported).
The addition of a HDMI output allows a direct connection to HDMI input screens, and to HDMI input video transmitters, such as Herelink or Lilliput WS500 Transmission System. The Split V5 can also be operated as UVC camera, providing a live video output stream via its USB port for use in webcam applications.
As before, the Split also works as a AV FPV camera and HD video recorder combined. Instead of having an FPV camera and a separate action camera like a GoPro on your drone, all you need is the Hawkeye 4K Split. It does both; it records great quality 4k / HD footage while simultaneously outputting a low latency analogue FPV video signal, so you can get real-time video to your FPV goggles. The benefit is not only more cash in your wallet, but a real weight saving which can yield greater flight time and performance. To record video requires a micro SD card (max 256Gb).
