Hobbywing Platinum 80A V5 Electronic Speed Controller
The Platinum V5 80A V5 is an extremely powerful ESC with 5-12V switch BEC suitable for 325420 helicopters and fixed-wing. This is ensured by the built-in 32-bit processor in combination with a specially developed algorithm for RPM accuracy, which clearly sets the performance of the controller apart from similar controllers on the market. In addition to the algorithm, the Platinum V5 with 80A is equipped with various protocols that allow different transmitter systems to read the data from the ESC.
The modern advantages that the Platinum V5 brings with it are also evident in the structural design, such as the many protective functions to make the next flight as safe as possible. This includes protection against overheating of the actual controller but also the attached capacitors. To prevent too much heat from being generated in the first place and this protection having to be activated, the controller has a double-sided heat sink with side ventilation. This allows air to flow quickly through the inside of the ESC and cool it down efficiently. If that is no longer enough, the various protective functions take effect and prevent greater damage.
