T-DRONES - ARES 6S 22000mAh

£549.00

T-Drones- ARES Semi-Solid Li-Ion, 6S 22000mAh

  • Semi-Solid Li-Ions offer greater energy density over Li-Po in the region of 30-35% - Energy Density of ~ 250Wh/Kg

  • The ARES series can be discharged at unto 8C, it is recommended that the maximum constant discharge does not exceed 5C. and charging for maximum capacity is 0.4C.

  • Solid state batteries should be used to increase the flight time of already efficient Drones, such as multirotor already flying for 30 minutes or for Fixed-Wing.

  • These batteries are recommended for the T-Drones M series, check the drone listing for which version of the batteries and how many match the drone.

Examples for guidance

They may not be suitable for all applications, please check the C rating and the current draw of the application, for example the lift motors of a VTOL are often high current draw where the forward flight motor is lower and a good use case for these batteries.

Another example would be heavy and in efficient multirotor, if your drone has a low flight time such as a cinema rig that may fly for 5-8 minutes, these batteries will not be suitable, the current battery would be being drained at around 10C (10x the capacity in 1 hour).
